Hi, I'm Karen.
I was raised on a farm in the Manawatu by parents who lived sustainably. We were taught to respect the land, make and repair things, minimise waste, upcycle, and grow our own food. Things and money were not in great supply back then. These practises and values are still with me today.
I founded Humanity in 2013 to encourage environmental stewardship through the purchase of ethically made, long-lasting and sustainable products.
Nature and animals are our big 🖤's. We are super passionate about taking care of this planet and its inhabitants. We believe businesses have the ability and moral responsibility to be part of the environmental solution.
Thanks for visiting and joining our journey.
Our entire range of products are cruelty-free, ethically made, and sustainably sourced. They are made to last, be recycled, repaired, and re-used.
We use recycled packaging, which means our parcels may not look pretty on the outside. However beauty is the product you have chosen on the inside. 😀
Where ever possible, we use recycled boxes and newspaper to ship your lovely product. We also use paper tape, and even our packing slips are printed on 100% recycled paper.
We partner with Trees That Count, to mitigate our carbon foodprint. Trees that Count are a New Zealand charity focused on planting native trees to rehabilitate our natural ecosystems.
